Here's a new twist: OpenLP has a Web Remote feature that allows web-based control of the application. I've made a feature request to allow an external app to send, probably via that Web Remote, a slide or a song -- preferably via ChordPro, text, or PDF -- which would then be added to the current service file so the operator could send it live. Or, maybe be able to configure OpenLP to automatically send it live. At any rate, assuming they go for it, it seems to me that this might be a "shortcut" way to implement on-the-fly lyrics projection from MobileSheets. We already have the ability to shoot songs to other devices over the network, after all.
