I'm seeing a new error while restoring a backup file. Here are my observations:
I depend on the backup/restore function to synchronize content between multiple devices, so this function is critical to me.

- Restoring a backup file on iPad via OneDrive - after the file is downloaded, while the data is being unpacked - "Error in backup file. Trying to skip bad data…" eventually hangs (at ~9%), then won't cancel out
- Happens on iOS app 3.9.4; fine on 3.9.3 (another iPad I have). File reads fine on Android app 3.9.4 as well.
- Problem exists whether backup file was created (in my case, using MS for Windows) by 3.9.4 OR an earlier version - since the backup files worked earlier or with a different iOS version (on a different iPad) or with Android, this suggests that the problem is on the Restore end in the iOS 3.9.4 version.
