As posted elsewhere in the forum, I'm deferring all ABC things until I've had time to switch the backend to abc2svg. Another user posted that you can't use brackets for chords I believe, as it causes issues with the ABC implementation I'm currently using. As far as the issue on MacOS, I'll look into it, but there are some keyboard settings in the OS that can impact things like that. I'll double-check to verify that auto-completion and correction are turned off for the editor.

I did not have the auto-correction/insertion stuff turned off for the text control, so that will be fixed for the next update.
