Setlists Permanent Filter (Type of Sheets)
#1
In a band, you have to manage scores in UT, scores in Bb, Vocal scores also in UT (other instruments) sometimes different, Drum scores etc...

We manage this by using different .PDFs for each type of transcription and we group them in the setlist.

At present, users have at least 2 sometimes 3 or 4 files or more for a song in a setlist.

A side note: Fortunately, the tempo is defined for everyone, unfortunately, the key is also defined for everyone.
In reality, it is not the same for UT scores or for Sax scores... It is not really useful, it is even inaccurate...

We would like to have a permanent or user-selectable filter. In a setlite, the drummer could specify "Drum" and only his score is displayed, the others are ignored. If there is no "Drum" score, the UT (Default) keynote for this song is displayed. Another solution could be "Select file NR ..." so we always organised files in the same order. So, UT is allways first, Lyrycs is allway second etc...) Another solution is filtering file name. We always named our files with brackets  to avoid errors... For exemple "Sunny [UT].pdf" and Sunny [Lyric].pdf and Sunny [Drum].pdf

This would avoid having to do "Right Arrow" 3 x to go from "Drum" of song 1 to "Drum" of song 2

This filter could for example select a "type of song* in the usable fields, because using a tone filter is not going to work (see above).

What do you think? This allows the director to make all the scores available to everyone in bulk, but the user decides that for him, only the "Drum" scores are necessary, unless there are none, this happens especially for the drummer or the brass, or sometimes the song has no score because the song is instrumental, in this case the score in UT is displayed.

This filter would be a Parameter, permanent, but accessible in the setlist menu because sometime user go to other score to understand something (especially Lyrics)...

Another way would be to predefine the filter types yourself (UT, Brass, Drum, Lyrics etc.) But it is perhaps better to leave it free.

Thanks for reading, and sorry for multiple EDIT, I tryed to be as clear as possible.
