MobileSheets itself will not do that conversion, but many Android tablets support an option to draw on a field on the screen to automatically convert that drawing to text. I can do this on my Samsung tablets, for instance. I'll have to check whether the BOOX supports the same thing. The area you would draw into is generally where the virtual keyboard is displayed.

THANK YOU! I just tapped around on the keyboard and got it to do this on my BOOX! It even understood my diminished symbol.
