I'm also quite interested in this topic.  I have the same setup as Marek (OP) but am having trouble syncing between two Windows PCs.  I have now repeatedly wiped out files and configurations accidentally by obviously doing the wrong thing.

My simple request is this:  How to make PC #2 look exactly like PC #1, regardless of what is on PC #2 at the moment.  Is there a very reliable way to accomplish this?
