I still highly doubt that will work, and the first review states this:

I bought this as a way we could display a mobile app on a larger screen when doing demos. I was only able to get any image to mirror to the external monitor briefly and the image looked horrible. It was stretched to a weird ratio and made the image unreadable. After playing with the settings, it now won’t display anything on the external monitor. I followed instructions to reset the device, but still nothing.

It's up to you whether you want to try it though, as I've never used a converter device like that.
