I wouldn't recommend using * as the first character of your Jazz titles (you can if you want, but not ideal).
Using * effectively puts them under a single letter (perhaps not an issue now but could cause probelms as the number of songs increase).

Much better to put something like "-Jazz" at the end of the titles and put them in a Jazz collection.
Select the Jazz collection to view them and use the index letters to move through the collection.

Alternatively you could create a separate Jazz library but that means that you would have to switch between libraries.
