Aligning annotation texts in a row, for chord symbols or lyrics

No, I hadn't tried that. I tried it, and it helps to a large extent, although vertically the grid size is a bit of a compromise. I can turn off snapping, select a row of texts and nudge the row up/down, then re-enable snapping. A bit fiddly, but ok'ish. Thanks.

By the way, is there a way to get just an empty treble staff? The piano staff tool created a grand staff, and I have to draw an empty white rectangle over the bass staff or something. Being able to draw, say, a short melody line, is often needed.
