Your request is so exotic that I wouldn't expect to get something implemented soon, so you'd better experiment how to find a solution with already existing features.
Did you already try creating separate songs for transition music and combine them in a setlist with your performed songs? Just guessing, but it looks more flexible than adding transition audio to each and every song.
