My proposal is to have the option to have page turns of different lengths available at the same time.  
I.E. you might have the default turn set to half page, but for a specific song you might benefit from half page turns when going forward, and full page turns when going back.  Or the need might be the opposite with full page turns going forward being more appropriate BUT a half page turn back being more useful.

To explain, I recently started using half page turns (yeah, I know, I'm a bit slooowww   ) and they are, as I'm sure all the rest of you know quite well, a truly excellent feature.

However, one occasional problem has become evident: when on a second, or subsequent, page and I happen to need to turn back for a DC or DS (I can imagine a long repeat could also run into this) and the target point is more than a half page turn back.  This requires at least 2 presses of the pedal.  This can take too long when there seems to be a mandatory gap between presses (0.5 sec?)

Now I know I could fix this with a link point, but trying to touch the screen while playing is impossible* unless there is a long enough rest, in which case there wouldn't really be a problem anyway.


* I might be able to get away with it on my tuba, but on my 'bone it is pretty much out of the question; I can't just take a hand off the instrument while playing (and I certainly can't lift my foot that high   ).
