- sometimes it is sufficient to place the half page turn position at the right position for a half page turn back to be sufficient.
- I find it easier to always go forward, so I change the page order and repeat pages. If e.g. a repeat goes back from page 3 to 2 I would put the page order to 1, 2, 3, 2, 3.
- I defined two new tap actions. Tapping top left always goes one full page back and tapping top right always goes one full page forward
- If nothing helps I rearrange the score in a photo editor to "eliminate" the need for going back.
Maybe some of my ideas are of use for you?
And as a last idea: As far as I know there is a setting to operate link points with the foot pedal. MobileSheets chooses automatically if it follows the link point or goes forward. I remember trying this, but for me in the end I found my solutions from above easier.
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your suggestions:
Point 1 - DC's probably won't work with this idea, also some repeats and DS's go back to the first line - these are the primary ones I'm trying to resolve.
Point 2 - I recall trying this in the past for something else and discovered there were problems, BUT I wasn't chasing this particular issue so I'll revisit it to see.
Point 3 - Can't tap while playing.
Point 4 - I'd rather avoid this approach.
I'll investigate pedal operated link points - didn't realise this was a possibility.
You're only paranoid if you're wrong

I'm using an Onyx Boox Tab X, and play low brass: mainly 'Bone and Tuba
