I can consider it. I'll then have to make sure there is a "Don't warn me again" checkbox on the warning dialog so that it doesn't become a source of irritation for users. That also means I need to have a way to bring back the warning if someone checks the box but wants the warning back later (meaning a new setting in the annotation settings dialog). I also need the translations for all 19 languages, although lately I've been lazy about getting accurate translations and have just been using auto-generated translations with DeepL. The real question is - when do I warn the user? Before saving changes? When pasting the snippet? I'm thinking an OK/cancel selection before saving makes the most sense, but if someone mindlessly clicks OK and ignores the dialog, I can't do much about that, whereas if I warn when it's pasted, they still have an opportunity to reverse the potential change.
