Sorry, I have no experience, the last month we had no real "bright sunlight". According the datasheet TCL has 400 Nits, certainly the lower limit for outdoor/bright sunlight.
On the other hand, I never had problems with bright sunlight, because I never played in direct bright sunlight, usually there is some parasol or tent or similar....

Sometimes there is a gazebo, but we are a 26 piece band and I sit right at the front so I am seldom under it. No problem if the sun is in my face, only if it is behind
