I disagree with your statement. Most users wouldn't want that at all if going from Android to Windows, as then they'd need to reconfigure the entire application. I may isolate some of the platform-specific settings into different files at some point, but this causes other potential headaches, as then I have to manage a significantly larger list of settings files with platform-specific code to handle them all.
