Trouble with cloud sync

iCloud is implemented very differently. It's treated like a local file system in Apple's SDK and gives me no immediate indication of whether an upload was successful or not (it just performs a local file copy and tries to synchronize it to iCloud in the background). I'm really not a big fan of the iCloud implementation from a developer perspective.
