I suppose that's fine, but what can happen is, you see the sync finish one on device, so you pick up your other device, you try to sync to that same folder, and none of the files have been transferred yet, so it may just immediately fail. That's what I was trying to avoid. I am going to support synchronizing to a folder picked with the file picker in a future update, as I can see situations where this will be useful to people on multiple platforms (as you could sync to a network share on Windows, for example). So once I release that update, you can sync an iCloud folder using Apple's file picker if you want.
