I did want to ask if you've ever considered using the library synchronization feature to just push changes to your Android tablet over WiFi. That would let you make all the changes on your PC and then push those changes to the tablet. This gets complicated if you also make your changes on the tablet though, so disregard this if you are frequently making changes on both devices.

Indeed, I do make changes on both devices.
I actually found a way to make this Quickshare feature to work.
To use the new Quickshare, you need to tell it which file you want to ship to the receiving device. Mobilesheets *does* create a .msf file, but does not provide the path to the file that you can drop into the quickshare program.
After digging around, I found the .msf file in this directory:
C:\Users\info\AppData\Local\Packages\41730Zubersoft.MobileSheets_ys1c8ct2g6ypr\TempState -- Note that "info" is my userid. The directory after "users" will be your username.
This is normally a hidden directory so you need to go to the setting to show hidden files/folders. I cannot remember what it is, but Google knows.
I can then drag and drop this file into quickshare and it works fine.
This is not as seamless as the original Quickshare because when I initiate Quickshare from Mobilesheets, it launches the program that throws the error message and asks you to open the new Quickshare. Then you need to navigate to the above-mentioned folder and drag/drop the .msf file to the newly launched Quickshare. It's a couple more non-intuitive steps but it is a workaround.
