Cheap? USB Foot pedal

I'm using an android galaxy tab 12" and wonder if the usb/charging cable connection can be hooked up to usb pedal? (I connect to the PC through that slot, so I guess I'll need a splitter or a gender bender because the usb end is a male, and the pedal will be a male too. I use the only other slot for micro sd card, and I don't know if that slot can interpret usb data flow, probably not!
