I'd like to see this apply to images as well as PDFs. Case in point: at a rehearsal in a location with blue and green lighting, I snapped a picture for a piece we were working on, and made annotations all over it. I then went in and edited the photo to remove the terrible color cast and attempt a swap-out with the original image. Annotations lost.
