CSVFiles for import
#1
I'd like to establish this thread to collect CSV files for import.
Please keep it clean and discuss general questions about CSV import in different threads.
Remarks and additions for specific CSV files are welcome here, of course.

Update:
In 2019 we started a separate forum section for sharing CSV files
https://zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/forum...php?fid=29

Please post new CSV files there.

edit 2020-11-22: title changed from "CSV files ..." to "CSVFiles ..." to follow https://zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/forum...p?tid=6667

CSVFile for Creole Jazz Band Fakebook 2.2
A great collection of traditional jazz tunes. All out of copyright, at least in Canada where the Creole Jazz Band resides.
Very good readability on the tablet.

Update 2020-11-15:
A new version Creole Jazz Band Fakebook 2020 exists with many improvements
see the "CSV  Files" forum: https://zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/forum...2#pid30932
The MuseScore group mentioned below still exists but has become completely silent

available here:
http://www.creolejazzband.com/Fake%20Books.html
https://www.simplyearlyjazz.com/store/p9...n_2.4.html

Many of its songs are also available in MuseScore .MSCZ format in the MuseScore forum:
https://musescore.com/groups/1428596

Update 2016-02-28 23:09: CSVs sorted by title
Update 2016-12-19:
correction of column "pages": C TREBLE has a different sequence of pages, the songs are the same
in column "titles" articles "The" and "A" moved to the end e.g. "The Jazz Me Blues" -> "Jazz Me Blues, The"
(as the CSVs are still sorted by title, the sequence of lines has changed)
column "source types" added, using my personal abbreviations:
      LS - lead sheet
     Text - song has lyrics
     2 S. - song has two pages
The XLS file contains all three versions in one list and some additional information.

Paul Hardy's Session Tunebook 2015

Edit: there's an improved Paul Hardy's Session Tunebook 2016, scroll down to download the according CSV

Paul Hardy provides a great collection of traditional jigs, reels, polkas and the like that you can download here:
http://www.pghardy.net/concertina/tunebo...nebook.pdf
Mostly traditional tunes from the British Isles, many of Celtic origin, including many Irish, Scottish and English dance tunes, but others are from an eclectic mix of sources.
There are several tunes on every page, so I apply MSPs cropping functionality after import to separate the songs.
There is also a version available with one song per page. If you prefer using that one you need to adapt the pages column accordingly.
If you need a different key you can download the .ABC version and use an ABC viewer for transposing or import ABC into MuseScore.

Colin Cosimini: Gypsy Jazz Chord Book Vol. 1 & Vol. 2
A collection of chord sheets (just the chords, no melody, no lyrics) for Gypsy Jazz tunes.

Sorry, I cannot provide a link to download the books.
Please respect the author's hard work and buy a copy!
Maybe it's a good idea to ask the publisher for a PDF version to let him know that there is a demand for digital versions.

Paul Hardy's Session Tunebook 2016
Paul Hardy provides a great collection of traditional jigs, reels, polkas and the like that you can download here:
http://www.pghardy.net/concertina/tunebo..._paged.pdf
Mostly traditional tunes from the British Isles, many of Celtic origin, including many Irish, Scottish and English dance tunes, but others are from an eclectic mix of sources.
The 2016 edition, as well as new tunes and tidies, has very many chord improvements over the 2015 edition (with thanks to the Brind family).
The CSV corresponds with the 'one song per page' version. It contains a column 'AlternativeTitles' that will not be imported by MSP. If you want to use the alternative titles in MSP just change the column header to e.g. 'custom groups', 'custom' or 'custom2' - wherever you want them to be imported.
If you need a different key you can download the .ABC version and use an ABC viewer for transposing or import ABC into MuseScore.

Hello aspiers, welcome back.
I'd really like to continue this discussion, but not here. See the very first post of this thread:
"I'd like to establish this thread to collect CSV files for import.
Please keep it clean and discuss general questions about CSV import in different threads.
Remarks and additions for specific CSV files are welcome here, of course."
My intention was to collect here, one post per fakebook, just the CSVs and related information.
Could you (or a forum admin) please move your post (and this answer) to a new thread. Thank you.
