Multiple midi out
#1
Hi,
I understand I can send midi out on different channels, does this mean that I can send one midi channel from one USB port to my synth and another midi channel from the other USB port on my tablet to my electric piano? I have a CHUWI Hi12 tablet on the way with 2 USB ports. My electric piano takes midi signals via a USB type B connection so I don't think I can daisy chain through the synth for this reason. As the tablet is on it's way I've not had a chance to investigate myself, thought it might save some time if somebody knew if it was possible!

Thanks in advance.

In the Windows 10 version, you have to pick what MIDI ports to connect to under Settings->MIDI Settings->Select MIDI Devices. So you will be able to pick what output ports to send on (and what input ports to receive on). So you'll be able to connect to both of your devices at the same time by selecting their ports, but you'll need to make sure you send on different channels to them (because MobileSheets will send out messages on every connected port). The Android version just connects to every port on every device, so it should work fine if you have a different MIDI device connected to each USB slot.  Another user has asked for the ability to specify what port each MIDI command will go out on (on the MIDI tab of the song editor), so I'm investigating adding that, but at the moment, that is not supported.
