ChordPro 5.0 - ChordGrid
#1
One of the new features in ChordPro V5.0 that I miss the most in MSPro is the support of Chord Grids.

The ChordPro env_grid feature is described here: https://github.com/ChordPro/chordpro/wik...s-env_grid
The attached ChordGrid-Example.png is a screenshot from this website.

We already discussed it in the MSP forum a while ago, see e.g. https://zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/forum...p?tid=3124

It would be great if you could integrate support for start_of_grid  / end_of_grid into MobileSheets. Thank you in advance.

I concur. That would be great and finally would make CPro usable for me.

I'm surprised that my original post is already 5 years old!
Mike announced a rework of MobileSheets' ChordPro features. I hope it is coming soon and brings not only ChordGrid functionality but also more of the other new ChordPro features.

It's definitely been a long time coming. Some of the efforts such as the annotations rework and implemention of the iOS version took a very long time. I didn't go full time on MobileSheets until 2020, but even so, things have taken much longer to complete than I would like...

It's underway - all the work has been delayed due to the Google Drive verification process mentioned elsewhere on the forum along with needing to fix crashes with the face gesture functionality on Windows, and also trying to resolve issues with rendering on ARM-based Windows devices. Fixing bugs takes priority over new functionality. I'm currently porting over the rendering on Windows from Win2D to Skia to see if this resolves the weird graphical glitches on ARM devices. This is a significant undertaking, but also has the benefit of allowing me to use identical rendering code between Android and Windows (preventing future bugs and reducing the time it takes to port changes). Once this done, I can resume the work on the chord grid functionality.

Thanks for the detailed update, Mike. I'm glad that for you fixing bugs has priority over new features, not all companies think that way, unfortunately.

Keep up the good work.
