I also don't use them [yet]. I did experiment with the song/setlist notes to see how they worked. If I did use them I believe I would recommend using a set of horizontally inline radio buttons in the setlist edit box to allow users to select one or the other or both along with the 'when loading' check box. Making the 'type' setting persistent may be satisfactory also, except for those who have both types for a song. Then you may need a 'both' in the type setting. Personally I would prefer the buttons [that worked instantly].
