Autocropp doesn't work on CSV import
#1
I have imported a Bb-Realbook with CSV, but the autocropp did not work (Version 2.8.2).
The option "Automatically crop pages" was checked,
Manually done autocropping for each file after import works fine, but it takes a lot of time.

Is there a possibility to autocrop a selection of files after the import?

I just tested this with version 2.8.6 (which is awaiting approval by Microsoft) and all of the songs I selected during the import were automatically cropped. Nothing has changed since version 2.8.2 in regards to processing CSV files and automatic cropping, so I'm not sure why we would be seeing different behavior with this. I tested this on my PC as you posted in the Windows 10 forum (so hopefully you were testing on the Windows 10 version as well).

There is no option to automatically crop a selection of files - you would need to open each song, go to the cropping editor and then auto-crop them. Alternatively, filter the song list to those songs, long press one to edit it, go to the files tab, tap the auto-crop button, tap the three dots at the top right and then tap "Save and edit next". You can then step through each song and just tap the auto-crop button.

Hi Mike,

yes i did the CSV import on my Surface Pro.
If it is ok for you, I will sent you an Email with the PDF-file and the corresponding CSV-file I used?

There is one idea:
Manually I use the option "Aggressively Crop"
May be the CSV-import only uses non aggresively crop?

Bests Paul

Yes, please email me the PDF and CSV and I will test with them. I'll try out the "Aggressively crop" option as well. I don't think that's related though.

Thanks,
Mike

Please send the files to mike@zubersoft.com. Gmail has a file size limit of 25MB. If the file size exceeds that, you will have to share it through the cloud using a Google Drive link, for example.

Thanks,

I got the files and when I imported, the songs I picked were cropped like I would expect. They aren't cropped much though because there isn't much that can be removed in the margins. What song did you create that wasn't cropped that you think should have been?

Thanks,
Mike
