Samsung Tablet and MIDI
#1
Hello,
I am trying to connect Samsung Tab A with Usb cable to receive Midi commands from my PC.
I chose MIDI as usb connection type and I send some commands from Cubase.
If I open a Midi monitor, commands are correctly displayed but I am not able to receive those in MobileSheet Pro.
I tried Default and Google usb library and I chose "Listening for Midi Commands" but no data is received.
Did I miss something ???

Thanks.

Just to verify - if you are going to connect your PC to the Android device in order to send MIDI messages back and forth, in the USB connection options on the Android device, you have to select that you want to use it for MIDI. This will create two virtual MIDI ports that you need to connect both Cubase and MobileSheetsPro too. In order for MobileSheetsPro to connect to those virtual MIDI ports, you need to switch to the Google MIDI library, as that is the only one that supports virtual MIDI ports. Do you see those virtual MIDI ports in MobileSheetsPro under Settings->MIDI Settings->Configure MIDI Connections?
