Version 3.8.6 was released last week, so I wanted to fully document the changes for it, as well as changes from some of the other updates (which contained mainly bug fixes). One important change with version 3.8.6 is the addition of a new picture taking feature on Android and iPadOS. The feature is unfortunately not currently available on Windows as the library I am using is not available for Windows at this time. Now when pictures are taken in MobileSheets, you can easily account for skewed pages, curvature of the edges, and other image artifacts. The image will be automatically converted depending on the color filter that is selected, but the default is to use black and white with grayscale for anti-aliasing. A single PDF is now generated from all of the images which is much more convenient and adds the ability to use the page order feature. The same library that is providing all of these new features is also going to be used to provide image correction for existing PDFs and image files. This will be added in one of the next updates. 

I also added the ability to extract PDF metadata which makes it easier for users to move their library into MobileSheets from other applications. You can configure the metadata extraction to occur automatically under Settings->Import Settings, or you can do it on a per-file basis in the song editor. Fields such as title, subject (which is mapped to genre), artist and composer should all work well when coming from other products.  The full list of changes can be found below:

Android v3.8.6

• Added significantly improved picture taking capability that supports image correction

• Fixed issue where some new users would not be able to get past the initial help dialog
  
• Fixed bug where transposing more than 12 steps down would cause chord pro files not to load properly.
  

Windows v3.8.6

I am currently working adding a significant amount of new features in the next update. I am not sure yet if these changes will be split up and rolled out with smaller updates or released all at once. It may depend on whether any critical bugs need to be addressed.
