Setlist Editing problem
#1
On ipad, when I choose Edit, I am presented with the setlist songs on the left and all songs on the right. On the right of All Songs, is the alphabet.

I think I should be able to pick a letter and jump to that section. With over 1000 songs, it's not practical to scroll. The tapping of a letter does not work.

I have in settings, extended letter list with tap, and since I'm a leftie, I have my letter list on the left in the main all songs view.

I expect the letter list on the right in the setlist editor should function the same .

I found a work-around to choose songs from the main all songs list, then add to setlist, but I'd like to be able to work in the setlist editor, as well.

Me again. I just tested turning off the show extended letters in the library settings. I did not realize, till I read the info under the on/off button setting again, that you could long press and still activate the secondary letters. Learned something new!

Anyway, with that option OFF, the songs do jump to the tapped letter in the song editor. But they don't work when that option is ON.

Not directly related to the reported bug, but very helpful for editing setlists within a library containing many songs:
You can save and reload user specific filters to reduce the number of songs that are displayed in the right column of the setlist editor.

I have a fix in place for this issue - thanks for reporting it. The fix is included with version 3.8.7 which I'm going to submit right now.

Thank you, Mike! And thanks itsme for the reminder that filters can be saved. I haven't explored that option yet. Great idea!

I have a request that is related, involving extended letters, in the main songs list.

First of all, now that I found out I can still access the extended letters by long-pressing, I prefer this method. But when it's ON...

I started using the ~ sign at the beginning of my pdf books that are there just for reference to keep them at the top, out of the way. (I got the idea from this forum.) So when the extended letters feature is OFF, pressing the # sign jumps the list to the very top, which is perfect to access when needed.

On the other hand, when extended letters by tap is turned ON, pressing the # gives only numbers as the secondary option, and I can't access the top of the list. My workaround was: press a number, tap out of it and then scroll up.

What about showing "top" or an "up" arrow before the numbers, as the first extended option to tap, after the #, to indicate jumping to the very top of the list?

As I said, I'm no longer using this option after I found out that when the feature is off, I can still access the extended letters by long-pressing. In this case, the # does jump to the top!

It would be nice for a "top" option when extended letters is ON, as well.

This appears to be a bug. The Android version does immediately scroll to the top of the section when a letter is tapped and the extended letter list option is enabled. I've updated the iPadOS version to match, so starting with the next update, it will behave the same. Thanks for making me aware of the issue.
