I am aware that Android 14 has not been issued, at least for Galaxy tablets, yet but I read in their Android release notes that Google has again made a change to sdcard access regarding programs, i.e. allowing developers to decide access.

I have searched for Android 14 permissions, sdcard etc. but cannot find the comment I referred to.  Sorry I will try to delete my post.  Ian
