CSV file tempos issue
#1
Absolutely newbie to both MS and music in general, just learning to play my first instrument.

I have both the iOS version and Windows version. Ihave only tried importing using csv files in the Windows version.

I have a pdf file with 56 pages of different songs I'm trying to import into MS using a csv file.

I'm testing with just the first two songs but cannot get the tempo field to import, the other fields import as expected.

CSV file contents

title;pages;collections;keys;genres;tempos;source types
The Almaine (Kind of Like David);1-2;Dulcimer A to Z;DAC;Folk;4/4;Tab
Amazing Grace;3-4;Dulcimer A to Z;DAD;Worship;3/4;Tab

Another question, when I manually enter the tempo field in the edit song screen, it will not accept 4/4, it will only accept 4,4. Is that correct? This happens in both iOS and Windows.

Thanks in advance!

The tempo is the beats per minute e.g 120, not the time signature eg 4/4

A song can have multiple tempos - this is why you can enter 4,4 (you have entered 2 tempos, both 4 bpm)

Try using "signatures" instead of "tempos"  (page 38 in manual)
