Hi!
First the pleasantries ;-) Thank you for the great application. I'm using it with a lot of joy on my Boox Tab X. Even with so much joy that my single library is getting a bit big. I'm loosing a bit oversight between the different orchestra's I'm playing in so now that I learned I can actually have multiple libraries on the same machine I thought of splitting the data up.
Of course I want to keep all my notes and adjustments.
I thought the easiest way would be:
(using Companion 3.2.0, TabX Black-White version 3.8.31)
+ Create a backup of my Default (large) library with the Companion
+ Create a new library on my device
+ Switch library on my device
+ Import backup in my new library
+ Delete all content in the new library that I will only keep in my default library.
However, the backup is restored to the the Default library even though I did not have it active. Plan failed
On one hand logical, on the other hand... not what I hoped.
Is there a smart way of migrating content from library to the other while preserving my annotations?
(hence, when I would just re-import the my sheet music, the notations will be gone)
Any hints would be more then welcome :-)
Anatolis
Ps. and no, I don't want to hex-edit my way through the backup to try to hack my way around ;-p
