Alas "tab" has two different meanings in German. The way of writing notation for stringed instruments as in "guitar tab" is called "Tabulatur", the UI element that is part of a "tabbed dialog" is called "Registerkarte".
I came across several sentences in the Release Notes where "Tabulatur" has been used where "Registerkarte" would be the correct translation, e.g. in the notes for 3.8.39 (see screenshot) or for 3.8.40.
If it is too difficult to differentiate the two translations, keeping "Tab" (uppercase) untranslated would be less confusing. Not fully correct, but a feasible workaround
