The easiest and fastest way by far is to just use the cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive). Export to the cloud service, and then you can import directly from that cloud service on your iPad.

You can do that if you want, assuming the USB stick is formatted using a file system that is supported both on Android and iOS (I have not tried that). It really is much simpler to use the cloud though.
