Hi, when I set everything up, I did the composers' names like this: John Smith. It looks nicer in the library and at the top of the song display. There are commas between composers.
John Smith, Joe Brown
I've had trouble weeding out duplicates, such as:
John A Smith, John Alva Smith, J A Smith, Jon Smith
(and on more complicated ones, misspellings, as well)
because under the composer tab, they are in alphabetical order by first name, which is not ideal.
So, I started renaming them to put last name first. It looks nice under the composers tab and it's easy to see if I can consolidate, for instance, I notice I now have
Sherman, Richard
Sherman, Richard M
then I can adjust and eliminate duplicates.
I did not, however, anticipate the problem in the library and top of display.
Now, for example, a song with three authors looks like this:
Cousin, Anne R, D'Urhan, Chretien, Rimbault, Edward F
What a mess! Is there any way to have a semicolon to separate multiple composers?
