How can I return to the beginning of a repeated section of music score, with a single tap, from within the score?

You'd want to use a link point. Open the score, tap the center of the screen to bring up the overlay, tap the icon at the bottom right that looks like a finger tapping a circle, tap + and then place the start and end positions. If you tap the starting circle, it will jump to the ending circle. That's one way of handling repeats. Another way is to change the page order to repeat the pages in the order you need to play them, and you can also crop out the sections of repeated pages so that they only contain the sections you need to see.

Many thanks. I think I've solved it by using a bookmark, but your way is probably better!

Within the Pages menu you can repeat any number of pages , each having its own edit overlay so I personally , use a repeated page number, with the area that is not wanted at the start edited off, (use a/several white filled box with no border) as the next page. works really well for ds at coda where they tend to be all over the place.
