Android migration to IOS easy
#1
Hi all, Zubersoft,

Not quite sure which forum to post this in but ...

Having used MobileSheets on my Samsung tablet (from 2014!), I've finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to an iPad (Pro 14" from 2022 if it makes a difference). Most musicians I know tell me they use ForScore. However, after the 3 or 4 years of using MobileSheets, I just plain like it and am glad there's an IOS version (IIRC, there wasn't one several years ago(?)).

So, just curious - is it a straightforward migration process? Backup in Android, restore in IOS kind of thing? I don't have any complexities whatsoever (just categorized PDF's, no annotations, no MP3 accompaniments etc.) so just need the library of PDF's copied across (with their metadata like Composer, Collections, Genre etc).

Thanks  Shy

That's one of many great features of MobileSheets: it's fully compatible on Android, Win10 and Apple. Just backup on one system and restore on the other, that's it.
If you manage your files yourself and organized the files in the same subfolder structure within the MobileSheets Storage Location you can even just copy the database (to be honest, I don't know how this is done on Apple devices, but I do it all the time on Android and Win10).
You need to buy another licence as each of the OSs has a different AppStore.
