Hey, folks!
I have a pair of Onyx BOOX MaxLumi2s that I use for a 'life-size' 2-page spread. It was almost completely flawless, until maybe four months ago. Truth be told: I don't remember exactly when this started happening, but... okay, I normally keep the two tablets in sync by using wi-fi (have yet to get Bluetooth to work, but I can make my phone a hotspot in a pinch), having one as the 'server' and the other using direct connection. Basically I make sure all my rehearsal annotations are done on the server device (I labeled them "1" & "2" so I don't get mixed up!), then when I get back to my office I use our building's wi-fi to connect the two and run the sync. What's been happening is that it now takes a good ten minutes to sync (where, unless I was working with a larger file, it would be <1 min) - *because* it's repeatedly syncing a handful of scores (14, I believe) and two of them are massive (one is the complete piano/conductor score of Legally Blonde). The kicker is: I haven't opened most of those scores in over a year. What would be causing MS to think they need syncing, and (short of removing them & re-adding, which I suspect would lose all my annotations) how do I get it to stop?
