New user here.  Orchestral musician, mostly horn, occasional trumpet.  I've scannned music for two upcoming concerts; they're PDF's; they're loaded in MSP, with each piece as a separate set list, within which, each page of the part is a separate song.  How do I set things up so I can load a setlist and be able to turn each page?

Steve, it should work already with the way you've set it up. If you go to the setlists tab and choose the setlist for the piece you want then you'll see all the pages you've saved in that setlist. Tapping one of the pages will display that page. You can then turn pages by tapping the left or right side of the screen (but not the corners - they're set up to perform other actions, although you can change the actions they perform in the settings). If tapping the side of the screen doesn't turn the pages then you might want to check that it isn't disabled in the settings (go to settings, then touch and pedal actions, then touch actions, and make sure 'enable tap to turn pages' is selected).

If you're using a pedal to turn pages then you'll need to check that the pedal is connected to your device, and that you have the right settings for the pedal to work. For example there is a setting in the touch and pedal settings that stops the pedal from changing songs so you'd need to disable that option.

I'd be inclined to combine the pages so that each piece is one 'song' rather than having each page be a song. I'd usually do that by stitching the pages together into a single pdf before loading it into MobileSheets but you can also do it within MobileSheets if you prefer.

Thanks!  Not entirely sure what I did, but something clicked late this afternoon and it seems to work just fine.  I was amazed.  Used it for the first half of rehearsal and it worked perfectly.  During break, I was copying notes from the guy on my left and had the paper music on top of the tablet.  Somehow, something I wrote on the paper music put enough pressure on the tablet screen that it changed the view to a vertically-split screen, with the music only in the upper left hand corner (way too small to play from) and the right half of the screen offering me voice to text conversion.  Break was over and I had no clue how to get out of that, so played the second half from the paper music.  Glad I took it along.  Will take the pen along Tuesday night for a different rehearsal.    

Foot pedal hasn't arrived yet, so that's not an issue.  

Does anyone have any thoughts on screen protectors?  Anti-glare screen protector pro's and con's?  Ninty eigh percent of the time, I'll use it on a music stand.  Any recommendations for a case?

The combination of this parts give me most flexibility for any situation ;-)

Never use tab´s with screen on as writing pad
Backup your library regularly
