mobile sheets horizontal displacement of text in text edit mode
#1
I saw there Stamp Chords and chord pro possiblities but for now i quickly wanted to edit my pdf and add chords with a text box.
When i add the text box and start adding cords above notes the chords position are different when in edit mode and not in edit mode. Basically when you leave edit mode the chords are shifting to the left, the further lright in the stave the more the chords jump left. The first chord on the left side is always in the right position.
I tried this with the system default font and witht he monospace font and with autosize of the text box on and off but the problem persist.
The shift is so big that it's unusable for chord notation.
Anythying i can do ?
Also i noticed that MS is adding a . after the chord, this is a bit annoying, is it possible to switch this off ?

I'll look into this, but I certainly don't see that with the default application settings. Do you have the page scaling (https://youtu.be/WXVGHa96ssw) set to "Fullscreen"? If so, set it to "Fit Screen" and you most likely will no longer see an issue. If the page is stretched to start with, it has to be shrunk down to the normal page aspect ratio to be stored in the native page coordinates, but the edit component Apple provides can't be stretched differently in the X and Y axis. So you can get some unexpected behavior in some situations due to that.

I can add chords with the text tool and no '.' is added. That sounds like a setting you may need to change in your iPad settings. For example: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2576...r-shortcut
