I have a few files where the filename ends with a dot, an example: Williams, John - Flying Theme from E.T.
These are PDF files, so they have a .pdf extension. There should be two dots between the filename and the extension. MobileSheets is storing the filename with only one dot.

You can edit each currently affected song (long press the song name, edit, add a dot to the Title and save)
For future imports, change the import dialog setting to "Use filename as song title" (the default is "Guess song title from filename")
Note: Don't have my tablet so dialog text may not be exact.

There isn't a problem with how MS parses the filename when "guessing", that is just how it is designed to work.
Once, you have said use the "Filename as the Song Title", it should remember this setting for future imports.
Note: You may also have to set this in the Companion as well i.e. the companion and the tablet imports may have therir own settings.
