Accidental finger twitch-performance mode
#1
I’m trying to move away from ForScore as I want to escape the ‘Apple’ trap.
I like Mobile Sheets so far but, ‘Performance Mode’ seems to be missing a key, vital feature compared to ForScore.
If your finger accidentally twitches whilst turning a page, you can instantly turn two of three pages and get completely lost. Not good on high pressure reading gigs, which is how I make my living.
When in Performance Mode in ForScore, the page will only turn once every 3 seconds with each tap so an inadvertent, nervous twitch, gets ignored. An absolutely invaluable feature. I don’t appear to be able to find anything like this in Mobile Sheets, unless using a pedal to turn, which I don’t. Am I missing something?
Thanks for your help.

No user has ever asked for that before, so it's not really something that I've considered. I have no issue with adding an option to only allow page turns every X number of seconds with the ability to specify that duration. It would certainly help to know if other users would like this feature as well. It's not a difficult feature to add, so it's something I can add to one of the minor updates. It would apply to page turns with any display mode, even if the page turn doesn't result in turning an entire page (i.e. with the vertical scrolling display mode in landscape, a tap scrolls 30% of the screen).

Try swiping the tablet to turn the page (rather than a tap)

Ha! I just emailed you about this. I guess it’s only certain ForScore users who know about it. I often enlighten people about it and once they know, they love it.
For me, it would be a fabulous feature to add and I’d be very grateful. It would certainly make my transition to Mobile Sheets complete. I’m also sure that it would become very popular once you make the feature known generally.

You can also disable tapping to turn pages under Settings->Touch & Pedal Settings->Touch Actions if desired.
