My current setup is a Yamaha PSR-SX900 arranger keyboard and an older Samsung Pro Chromebook.
On the keyboard I have quite a few registrations linked to MS song sheets, and it works great with this setup.

I'm thinking of purchasing a new tablet, possibly a Windows OS tablet, 
Will my saved keyboard registration links to MS sheets be lost on a new device after restoring MS from a current backup?

No, the MIDI commands should transfer over just fine and continue working on the Windows device.
