Migrating from iGigBook
#1
I've used iGigBook (iPad) for 14 years, but there are glitches / bugs not being addressed and I am losing music in the books I created (about 15 books in total)..

The app (iGigBook) does not have a mechanism to down load the "Index" that goes with the PDF Book.

How do I move these books (question 1) and is there an easy or quick way to index each title within the PDF book so that i can use in mobile sheets?

Thanks..

Mark
PS - I'm a registered user and purchased the app

There is a subforum dedicated to sharing CSV files for common PDFs here: https://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/f...um-29.html

There are plenty examples there of csv files if you want to create your own as well. I'm not sure if MobileSheets would support the syntax for the csv files used by iGigBook. I'd need to see an example to know for certain. I also don't know what iGigBook supports as far as exporting, as I've never used the app myself. Hopefully someone else with experience can chime in.

That's the "rub", iGigBook has no mechanism for downloading user indexes...  Hours of work to create..  Sounds like i may have to start from scratch...  Uggh...

Thanks for the reply.

Is there an Excel / CVS format you can provide?

As Mike already wrote: there's a plenty of example CSV files in the "CSV Files" subforum. Searching for "CSVFile" (without the quotes and without blank) will find most of them.
There's a list of keywords in the manual. I think there were some additions later, but this post https://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/f...11013.html dated 2024-01-30 should probably be up-to-date
