Bluetooth Clicker not turning pages
#1
I use MobileSheets for choral music, holding the tablet in one hand and turning pages with a Bluetooth clicker in the other hand. I’ve used this Bluetooth clicker for over two years https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RRW...=UTF8&th=1 and it has always worked great. Several weeks ago it stopped turning pages, nothing happens when a song is displayed. The device still works because it will scroll a selector, such as when displaying a list of songs. It also works with other applications. I’ve looked for any setting that might have caused this to stop working, but I can’t find anything. I’m probably missing something obvious.

I have removed and re-added the Bluetooth clicker, no change, it still doesn’t turn pages.

I have a Bluetooth mouse, and that will turn pages, so page turning works. I prefer to use the clicker rather than the mouse while singing, it’s easier to hold.

MobileSheets runs on a Microsoft Surface Go running Windows 10.

Anyone have any idea how to get the clicker to turn pages again?

Please verify that you've gone through these steps:

1) Load MobileSheets, tap the three dots at the top right and then Settings.
2) Tap Touch & Pedal Settings and then Pedal Actions
3) Tap the "Keys" field for Pedal 1.
4) Tap the "Clear" button on the dialog.
5) Press a button on the accessory. If a key shows up, the accesssory is communicating properly with your device and will work with MobileSheets.
6) If a key shows up, tap OK, then select the action you want that button to trigger from the dropdown below the keys field. Repeat these steps for pedal 2 (button 2 on the accessory).

That fixed it. I thought it was something obvious, just couldn't figure it out.

I had backed up the library and restored it to try another tablet. After using it for a short while, I decided to go back to the original device, the MS Surface Go. So I did another backup and restore. I suppose that's where the settings were lost.
