Once in awhile, I get a message saying that there are duplicate songs during a sync and ask me to pick which one I like to update.  I use only song titles and not song ID for my songs in the Library and I don't have duplicate songs with the same title although I occasionally change the song title of a particular song.  Is there a way for me to check whether there is any duplicate songs with same title in my Library.

There is no way to easily check for that at the moment. You should only get that duplicate song popup if you have multiple songs with the same title and filename.
