TCL Tablet
#1
I am looking for a tablet to view Mobilesheets and TCL was recommended.  I have looked for more information and found that new TCL tablets have anti-glare screens and 14" screens which are very attractive.  I have looked for stores or online sources to buy one with limited success.  There are several sources for earlier TCL models and this online site has the 14" model.  The online site is  https://www.tradeinn.com/techinn/en/tcl-...HIInEXkKUo  It seems a little sketchy.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

What country are you in? Availability seems to be primarily Europe and Asia at the moment. Have you considered Lenovo? It's also great for MS and very affordable.

I am in the US.  Lenovo has up to a 12.9" screen and Samsung Galaxy has 14" so I may go that direction although more bucks.

My 12.9 Lenovo is perfect for MS and a third of the price of the Samsung. But that gigantic screen would be pretty sweet if you can afford it. Personally, if I were going to spend big bucks on a tablet for MS, I'd go for e-ink due to better visibility outdoors. But of course it depends on the sorts of gigs you have.

e-ink Boox tablets are very attractive.  Their 4x3 aspect ratio closely matches sheet music making the screen use efficient.  They have anit-glare screens which is another plus.  Their price is not bad.  Then I saw their operating system and it is a Linux based system.  Mobile Sheets probably does not run on it.  Their data storage is also a bit low.  If MS would run on e-ink I would be interested in it.

Since September of 2013, all Boox devices have run Android - my Tab-x runs version 11.
There are lots of us running Boox e-ink devices.

There is even a specific version of MS to accommodate the e-ink display.

MobileSheets does run on Android based e-ink tablets.  Mike has a version made for e-ink that you have to purchase directly from his homepage.
