That the rightmost and leftmost columns of ChordGrids shall be handled as comments has been discussed in several threads, e.g.
https://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/f...12880.html
https://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/f...12152.html
As of 3.9.16 text in the left and right margin of ChordGrids are rendered in italic with a light blue background.
For better readability in ChordPro source files the first bar line is often aligned with blanks (sometimes unnecessarily many). In case of comment texts in the margins MobileSheets currently handles these blanks as part of the comment. This is different to the handling of blanks in margins without comment text and has some disadvantages:
1.) the maximum font size that is calculated by "Auto-Size Fonts" is unnecessarily small
2.) if the user enlarges the ChordGrid font the light blue highlighting overlaps with the first bar containing chords
Please ignore trailing blanks at the end of comment texts in ChordGrids, while calculating the font size for "Auto-Size Font" and while calculating the size of the light blue background. Thank you.
btw: comment in the margins of ChordGrids looks different to {c: comments, which is inconsistent. I'm not sure if I would like {c: comments highlighted also or omitting the highlighting of comments in ChordGrids. Best would be to allow the user configuring that. I'm requesting more formatting options for comments (and several other ChordPro elements) for years in many different threads.
