A file doesn't contain other files. A piece (Song or Sheet) can contain one file or several. There's this confusion in Mobile Sheet everywhere. Is it possible to have a "Files" tab?
It's difficult to maintain order, especially when you have a lot of data. Plus, "duplicate" files are multiplying.. File(1) File(2) file(3) etc...
Thanks

No, I'm not going to have a Files tab because it would be confusing and provided limited value, as multiple songs can link to the same PDF, so then you'd have the same PDF listed multiple times with different songs, which is basically the same as having multiple songs with the same title. If you want to see the file name or path as part of the title, go to Settings->Library Settings->Song Title Formatting and add %FILE_PATHS% or %FILE_NAMES% to see the paths or names of every file used by each song.
If many users ask for a Files tab, I will consider it, but otherwise I think time is better spent on other feature requests.

That's a real old request of mine and I don't know if you're even considering it, but - and that's of course only for people who don't let MS manage the files but want to maintain their own structure in the MS directory - if maybe a filemanager within in MS is too much I still really would like the option to move a song from it's current place to another in the MS directory with an automatic update of the path in the database at the same time.

Indeed, hence my request.
