link points
#1
I've been using the link points functionality recently.
I was kind of expecting the link points to be bi-directional, but they seem to travel in one direction only.

Because of this, I sometimes end up with multiple link points (sources and destinations) on one page. Of course I can further annotate by inscribing some text but I was wondering: would it be possible (and useful) to make the "source" and "destination" link points a different shape or line type or something along those lines?

I would like to support this request, especially the "source/dal Segno" shape.
The animated "destination/Segno" shape/dot works perfect!

What type of shape or difference would you both like to see? It would be helpful to gather some ideas and suggestions for what people want.

To be honest I have no strong preferences here. I was mostly hoping to immediately see the difference between a source and a destination without having to inscribe extra information myself.

For the "source/dal segno" an upward pointing arrow.

If possible.

Maybe triangles? Pointing to the right for source/outgoing and to the left for target/incoming?

Triangle for 'from' [source/outgoing], circle for 'to' [target/incoming].

Trianlge was my first choice....like a "play" Button, but maybe this could lead to a "visual misinterpretation".

If it looks like a "pyramid", it´s ok for me also.

Please don´t change anything at the "target", the animated dot works perfect!

just my 2 cents...

The suggestions are helpful - thanks. Something like a triangle would be easy to draw and implement, so perhaps I can just have a setting for the shape (square, triangle, circle, diamond, arrow, etc).
