Feature request Magnifying glass for pen input
#1
Hi Mike, is it possible to display the magnifying glass that is available for the input for stamps with the fingers also for the input with the pen.
I always find it difficult, especially with the accidentals, to place them in the right place, as the tip of the pen covers the place to insert them. Especially when the music notes are not particularly large.
That would be great.

I'm a little surprised by that - how large is the tip of your pen? With most of the styluses/pens I've used, I can still clearly see the page around the stylus. If more users want an option to display the magnifying glass even with stylus input, I can certainly support that. It won't require much effort at all.

Of course the insertion of the stamps works. But as I often have very complex pieces, there is sometimes not much space between the notes. If an accidental has to be drawn in between, every millimeter counts. Then you have to use the move tool and one or two clicks are enough with the settings 1x to get to the right spot without covering something else..
My colleague uses forescore on the ipad and the magnifying glass is there when pasting. I remembered that mobilesheets actually also has this function, but only for finger input, so I thought I'd ask.

I have no issues supporting it if people want it. The only question is whether I make it enabled or disabled by default to show the popup with a stylus when placing stamps. Another user has asked for the ability to also show the magnifying glass when repositioning text with a finger (when the text is small enough to be under a finger), so that's something I'm considering as well.

Thank you for thinking about it.
It would be very helpful, at least for me.
An option to turn it off for those who don't need it is certainly a good choice.

+1 for the wish of automatic zoom for pen input: I use it while the tablet is placed on a stand, and then the handling of the pen is rather unpractical due to hand posture.

Cheers,
